Ingredients
2 cups all purpose flour (250g)
1 cup cocoa powder (100g)
2 cups sugar (400g)
2 tsp baking powder (10g)
1 tsp baking soda (6g)
A pinch of salt
2 tsp vanilla extract (9g)
2 eggs (100g)
1 cup cooking oil (224g)
1 cup warm milk (240g)
1/2 cup hot water (115g)
200g semisweet or dark chocolate
300g heavy whipping cream
Topping
200g chocolate
1 tsp coconut/ cooking oil
Recipe
Sift all the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Mix until well combined
Add eggs, oil, warm milk and vanilla extract. Mix until well blended.
Pour hot water and mix until smooth.
Grease your baking dish and align it with parchment paper. Grease parchment paper and pour the cake batter.
Spread evenly with a spatula and bake @350°f for 45-50 minutes.
Let the cake set inside the dish for about ten minutes.
Flip the cake onto a wire rack and remove parchment paper.
Put the cake back into the dish and poke holes with a skewer.
Pour hot heavy whipping cream on top of the 200g semisweet chocolate and mix until well combined.
Pour the chocolate mixture over the cake and freeze it for about half an hour.
Take 200g chocolate and pour 1 tsp oil at the top. Microwave for 30 seconds and mix well. Then microwave again for 30 seconds and mix until smooth.
