__Ingredients__
__Churros__
1 cup water (240ml)
6 tbsp unsalted butter (85g)
1 Tbsp granulated sugar (13g)
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup all-purpose flour (120g)
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
Vegetable oil for frying
__Cinnamon sugar__
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
__Chocolate Sauce__
1/2 cup chocolate chips (100g)
1/3 cup whipping cream (80g)
1 tsp butter (5g)
__Cream Cheese Frosting__
1/3 cup butter (75g)
1/2 cup cream cheese (114g)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups icing sugar (240g)
__Toppings__
fruity pebbles
Oreo crumbs
Biscoff butter
strawberry crunch
chopped almonds
__Recipe__
In a large saucepan, bring the water, butter, salt and sugar to a rolling boil over medium-high heat. When it boils turn off the heat and add all the flour at once and stir hard until all the flour is incorporated, 30 to 60 seconds.
Turn on the heat and cook, stirring, 30 seconds.
Put the mixture into a bowl and mix at medium speed. With the mixer running, add 2 eggs, 1 egg at a time, as well as the vanilla.
Mix until the dough is smooth and glossy and the eggs are completely incorporated.
Scoop dough into a strong pastry bag with a open star tip nozzle.
Heat oil 375°f-380°f .
Carefully pipe 5-6 inch long strips of dough into the hot oil. Cut end with clean scissors.
Fry until golden browned, about 2 minutes each side.
Transfer to a paper towel lined plate for a few seconds before rolling in the sugar.
Fry 3-4 churros at a time.
Roll the hot churros in cinnamon sugar.
Chocolate Sauce: Pour chocolate chips and cream in a bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Mix until smooth. Add butter and mix until well blended.
Cream Cheese Frosting : Pour all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk until you get a smooth and fluffy frosting.
Topping: Drizzle chocolate sauce on the churros and sprinkle Oreo crumbs.
Drizzle cream cheese frosting and top it with fruity pebbles and strawberry crunch.
Drizzle biscoff butter and top it with your favourite nuts or sprinkles.
