Italian Cake Ciambellone
Very Soft & Fluffy Cake
__Ingredients__
- 2 2/3 cups all purpose flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2/3 cup melted butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 tsp baking powder
__Recipe__
1. Sift flour in a bowl.
2. Put 4 eggs in another bowl and whip for 3-4 minutes until fluffy.
3. Add sugar and mix for 2 minutes.
4. Add vanilla, lemon, milk & melted butter. Mix everything until well blended.
5. Add sifted flour with salt and baking powder. Mix until well combined.
6. Grease baking mould ( Bundt Pan ).
7. Pour the cake batter. Gently mix with a skewer to prevent any bubbles in the batter.
8. Bake @350°F for about 40 minutes.
9. Cool for 10 minutes in mould before inverting onto a wire rack.
10. Turn the cake out onto a rack. Dust some icing sugar.
