Crispy Salt Crackers


__Ingredients__


- 1/2 cup water

- 1 & 1/2 tsp yeast

- 1 tsp sugar

- 4 tbsp olive oil or cooking oil

- 1 & 1/2 cup all purpose flour

- 1/2 tsp baking powder

- 1/4 tsp baking soda

- 1/4 tsp salt

- 1/2 cup chopped spring onion ( green part only)

- 1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds

- olive oil + water for the top

- sea salt for the top


__Recipe__


1. Put 1 & 1/2 tsp yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Add 1 tsp sugar and stir well. Cover for 10 minutes. Add olive oil and stir.

2. Add flour with salt, baking soda and baking powder. Mix until well combined in a form of dough ball. Cover and leave it for 30-40 minutes.

3. Dust some flour on your work surface. Roll the dough in the flour. Put onion and sesame seeds and stretch the dough for a minute.

4. Shape the dough into a ball. Divide the dough into two parts.

5. Roll it into thin crust and cut it into the desired shapes (Round, square or rectangular).

6. Poke holes with the fork. Take equal parts of oil and water mix and apply on the crackers. Sprinkle some sea salt and bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes.

7. Let them cool down for 15-20 minutes.

Recipe makes 24-25 crackers. Depends on the size.
