Ingredients
6 large eggs
1/2 tsp salt
3 tsp olive oil or any cooking oil
2 tbsp butter
4 slices of bread
1/2 tsp paprika powder (optional)
1/2 tsp crushed chili flakes (optional)
1/2 tsp dried parsley flakes (optional)
Note: Chilli and herbs are optional. You can use any chili, pepper and herb of your choice or can skip these.
Recipe
Beat eggs with salt for about five minutes until foamy.
Spread 3 tsp oil in a pan on low heat (180°f is perfect for making fluffy eggs).
Pour beaten eggs into the pan. Spread evenly with a rubber spatula.
Rotate the pan after 2 minutes to make evenly cooked eggs. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Trim the edges of the bread and cut into 1 inch cubes. Spread the bread cubes on top of the eggs.
Sprinkle chili flakes and paprika.
Grease a flatten plate or lid with oil and cover the pan with it. Flip the eggs on the plate.
Pour butter in the pan and slide the eggs on it.
Cook for about 3-4 minutes.
Check with a toothpick if it’s cooked properly.
Cover the pan with a plate and flip the omelette on it.
Sprinkle some herb at the top and enjoy!
