Ingredients
2 & 1/4 cup all purpose flour (270g)
2 tsp cornstarch (8g)
1 tsp baking soda (6g)
1/2 tsp salt (3g)
1 cup butter (226g)
4 oz cream cheese (113g)
2 eggs (100g)
2 tsp vanilla extract (8g)
1/2 cup granulated sugar (115g)
1/2 cup brown sugar (110g)
8 golden Oreo cookies + 6 crushed Oreo cookies
1/4 cup funfetti (40g) + more for topping
1/4 cup white chocolate chips (40g)
Cream Cheese Frosting
1 tbsp butter (14g)
2 tbsp cream cheese (28g)
2 tbsp icing sugar (15g)
Vanilla extract (optional)
Recipe
In a deep bowl beat cold butter and cream cheese together until well combined.
Add eggs and vanilla extract and beat for about a minute.
Add flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt. Mix everything together and beat until well incorporated. Scrape the bottom and sides of the bowl.
Add chocolate chips, funfetti and 6 crushed Oreos.
Freeze the cookie batter for about 10 minutes.
Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and roll into cookie balls. Divide the dough balls into two baking sheets aligned with parchment paper. Each dough ball weighs 50z.
Flatten each dough ball with your fingers and place one Oreo cookie in the middle. Combine the dough into a ball again.
Freeze the dough balls for 10 minutes and then bake @375°f for 14-15 minutes.
You can poke a couple of Oreo chunks and chocolate chips at top of the warm cookies. Let the cookies cool down for about half an hour on a wire rack.
Mix cream cheese, butter and sugar together until smooth.
Drizzle cream cheese frosting on top of the cookies and sprinkle some funfetti at the top. Each cookie weighs 6oz.
