This butter cookie box is perfect for gifting around the holidays. It's filled with different crisp and tender butter cookies.
__Ingredients__
__Snowball Cookies__
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup ground almonds
- Icing sugar for top
__Coffee Bean Cookies __
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/2 icing sugar
- 1/2 tbsp coffee + 1 tbsp water
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 cup cake flour
__Tumbprint Cookies __
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup icing sugar
- 1 egg+1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder + 2 tbsp water
- chopped peanuts
- egg white
- chocolate for top
__Cranberyy & Pistachios Butter Cookies__
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- white chocolate and nuts for top
__Recipe__
1. Snowball Cookies:
Cream butter and sugar together.
Add ingredients one by one and mix until well combined.
Scoop the dough, roll into a ball.
Recipe makes 12 cookies.
Bake @325° for 15 minutes.
Sprinkle some icing sugar.
2. Coffee Bean Cookies:
Cream butter and sugar together.
Add other ingredients one by one.
Make 1/2 inch sizes balls.
Roll them into rectangular shape.
Make cuts in the middle.
Bake at 325°F for 8-10 minutes.
3. Thumbprint Cookies:
Beat butter and sugar together.
Add ingredients one by one.
Divide the dough into two parts.
Make cookies from the first part.
Mix cocoa powder with water and add it into the second half of the dough.
Make balls.
Indent cookies in the middle with your thumb or round end spatula.
Dip cookies into the egg whites then in chop nuts. Bake @325°F for 12 minutes.
Decor it with melted chocolate.
4. Cranberry Pistachio Butter Cookies:
Beat butter and sugar together until smooth. Add the other ingredients one by one. Shape the cookies. Bake at 325°F for 10 minutes. Dip into melted white chocolate. Sprinkle pistachios, cranberries and white chocolate chips.
5. Chocolate With Nuts: Melt 1/3 cup of chocolate chips. Put chopped nuts At the bottom of the chocolate mould. Pour melted chocolate on it. Keep in the fridge until settled. Nut Chocolate is ready. It looks beautiful and tastes great!
