I Don’t Buy Nutella Bread From The Bakery Anymore!

__Ingredients__

- 1/4 cup warm water

- 2 tsp yeast

- 1 tbsp sugar

- 1 large egg

- 3/4 cup lukewarm milk

- 2 tsp oil

- 2 & 1/2 cups all purpose flour

- 1/2 tsp salt

- 1/4 cup butter

- 1/2 cup Nutella

- 1/3 cup chopped walnuts or hazelnuts

__Topping__

- 1 beaten egg

- 1 tbsp melted butter

- 1 tbsp chocolate chips

- 1 tbsp walnuts or hazelnuts

__Recipe__

1. Take 1/4 cup warm water. Add yeast and sugar. Stir and cover with a cling wrap for 10 minutes to rise.

2. Remove the wrap and stir again. Add milk, egg & oil. Mix until well incorporated.

3. Take 2 & 1/2 cups of all purpose flour with 1/2 tsp salt in a large bowl. Pour the yeast mixture into the flour and mix until well combined. Add 1/4 cup butter at room temperature. Knead the dough until you get a soft dough. Roll the dough into a ball. Cover and rise for 1-2 hours in a warm place.

4. Punch the air out. Dust your work surface with flour and tip out the dough. Flatten the dough with your hands. Roll with a rolling pin about 12”x 18”.

5. Spread Nutella evenly. Sprinkle chopped walnuts. Roll it up tightly. Use a sharp knife to cut the dough in half. Expose the layers of dough & Nutella.

6. Take the ends of the dough and bring them together. Then take one side of the dough and twist it around the other side. Repeating until you come to the end.

7. Grease your baking pan. Align it with parchment paper and grease again. Transfer the dough into the pan. Cover and let it rise for 30-40 minutes.

8. Remove the wrap and brush the top with beaten egg. Sprinkle some chopped walnuts and chocolate chips. Bake @350°F for about 20 minutes.

9. Let it set for 5 minutes then move it to a wire rack. Apply some melted butter. Slice it with a sharp knife. Enjoy!
