Moist & Fluffy Chocolate Cake

__Ingredients__


- 2 eggs

- 1/2 cup sugar

- 1/3 cup oil

- 1 cup all purpose flour

- 1/2 cup cocoa powder

- 1/2 tsp baking powder

- 1/2 tsp baking soda

- a pinch of salt

- 1/2 cup hot water


__Topping__


- 2 tbsp butter

- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (semi sweet)

- 1/4 cup milk


__Recipe__


1. In a large bowl mix sugar and oil until well combined.

2. Add eggs and whisk until smooth and creamy.

3. Sift flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda together. Add a pinch of salt. Mix everything until well combined.

4. Batter will be thick and fudgy at this point. Scrape the bottom and sides of the bowl.

5. Add hot water and mix until you get a smooth cake batter. Scrape the bowl again.

6. Grease your baking pan and align it with parchment paper. Pour the batter and bake it for 35-40 minutes @350°F.

7. Let the cake set in the pan for 10 minutes after baking. Take it out and remove the parchment paper. Cooldown for 10 minutes on the wire rack.

8. Cut the top part off and grind it into crumbs.

9. Chocolate topping: Take 1/2 cup chocolate chips of your choice. Add 2 tbsp butter and 1/4 cup milk. Microwave for 30-40 seconds and mix until smooth. Refrigerate for 15 minutes before using.

10. Pour the chocolate all over the cake and spread it with a spatula. Cover the sides as well.

11. Apply cake crumbs at the sides and refrigerate it for 15 minutes before cutting.
