Stuffed Bigmac Burger

Ingredients For Filling


  • 200g ground beef

  • 1 medium sized onion

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp soya sauce

  • 1 tsp red chilli flakes

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 3 tbsp cooking oil

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

  • Pickles and tomatoes


Ingredients For Buns


  • 3 cups all purpose flour

  • 1 cup warm milk

  • 1/4 cup melted butter

  • 3 tbsp sugar

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 2 tsp active dry yeast

  • Cheddar cheese slices


Sauce


  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup

  • 1 tsp mustard paste

  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise


Topping


  • 1 egg yolk

  • 3 tbsp milk

  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

  • 1 tbsp melted butter


Recipe


  1. Pour warm milk in a deep bowl.

  2. Add yeast with sugar and mix until dissolved.

  3. Add butter, 1/2 cup flour and 2 tsp salt. Mix until well combined.

  4. Add 2 & 1/2 cup flour and mix with a spoon until combined.

  5. Knead for 1-2 minutes and cover with a cling wrap for 1-2 hours until doubled.

  6. Chop onion into small chunks.

  7. Pour oil in a pan on medium heat. Sauté onion until soft.

  8. Add ground beef and stir for about 1-2 minutes.

  9. Add garlic, salt, chilli flakes, soya sauce and pepper. Cook for 7-8 minutes.

  10. Mix the ingredients of sauce in a bowl.

  11. Take out the dough from the bowl. Spread some flour on your work surface. Roll the dough in it and spread with your hands.

  12. Divide the dough into 8 equal parts.

  13. Combine the edges of the each part and roll them into balls.

  14. Cover the dough balls for 20-30 minutes.

  15. Flatten the dough ball with a rolling pin into 6’’.

  16. Pour 2 tbsp ground beef in the centre. Pour sauce on top with some pickle, chopped tomatoes and cheddar cheese.

  17. Combine the edges and roll it into a ball.

  18. Make all the dough balls in the same way and place them on a baking tray.

  19. Beat egg yolk with milk and apply egg wash on top of the buns.

  20. Sprinkle some sesame seeds and bake @350°f for 15-18 minutes.

  21. Apply melted butter at the top and enjoy!
