Teatime Snack Cake Rusk

Cake Rusk

__Ingredients__

- 6 eggs

- 1 cup sugar

- 1 cup oil

- 2 tsp vanilla essence

- 2 1/2 cups of all purpose flour

- 1/4 tsp salt

- 1 tbsp baking powder

- 4-5 drops of yellow food colour (optional)


__Recipe__

1. Beat eggs until fluffy.

2. Add sugar and vanilla essence. Beat until fully dissolves.

3. Add oil and beat again.

4. Add flour, salt and baking powder. Add yellow food colour and mix until well blended.

5. Grease 9”x13”baking pan. Put parchment paper and grease again.

6. Pour your cake batter and bake at 350°F for 35 minutes.

7. Cut the edges of the cake then divide it into two parts. Cut half inch thick cakes. (As shown in the video).

8. Spread your cakes in baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.

9. Flip the sides of cakes and bake for another 10 minutes.

10. Let the cakes cool down a bit then enjoy with your tea or coffee.
