_Ingredients_
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1 small egg
- 2 tsp sugar
- 3 tsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
_Recipe_
1. Put 2 eggs in a deep bowl. Add sugar and oil. Mix until well blended.
2. Add milk and vanilla extract and mix well.
3. Sift flour with baking powder. Add flour into the wet mixture. Add 1/4 tsp salt and mix everything until well combined. Scrape the bottom and sides of the bowl.
4. Beat 1/2 cup cream cheese in another bowl. Add egg, cornstarch, sugar and vanilla. Mix until you get a smooth mixture.
5. Grease your baking mould. Align it with parchment paper and grease again. (I’m talking 9”x 3” mould).
6. Pour the cake batter into the mould. Spread evenly with spatula.
7. Fill a pastry bag with cream cheese mixture. Make a pattern on your cake.
8. Bake @350°F for about 20-25 minutes.
9. Cool for 10 minutes in mould before inverting onto a wire rack.
10. Turn the cake out onto a rack. Take the mould off and flip the side carefully as it’s very soft.
